She was certainly by far one of the hottest
ones! Ever! Back then she was known as Candylac,
the fiery redhead Suicide Girl form Denmark.
Although she was one of the cover-faces of the Girls, she
felt that she needed more out of her life. She’s moved
on since her days with the SuicideGirls,
harboring no harsh feelings towards the Pin-Up Girl website,
at all. She recently made mention that the SuicideGirls
was a great “kick-starter” for her career.
And, as she moved on in life, so too did
she move up in life! Today Anne Lindfjeld
is a successful full-time model and Presenter
of the Headbangers Ball on Danish MTV.
You can just imagine my delight when Anne Lindfjeld
agreed to answer some of my questions! Here then, our exclusive
Q & A with Miss Anne Lindfjeld:
How long have you been a professional pin-up model, and
what do you enjoy the most about it?
I don't even know when you can say it went from armature
to pro, but I guess, for about 4 to 5 years... and what
I love the most is the opportunity to express myself creatively
and get to work with some amazing artists.
Which photo shoot did you have
the most fun doing?
I always have the most fun when I’m working with Spooky
Sally from Berlin, but I think the most fun was our
spooky shoots in the forests of Berlin, it was very weird.
We found a very old house that seemed pretty haunted and
falling apart and figured that it would be the perfect spot...
as soon as we started shooting it started pouring! The sky
just opened up on us, and up until then the sun had been
shining... also weird noises were coming from the trees,
so of course we stayed and finished shooting, cuz it was
cool!
I see that you have met a lot of
awesome rock stars! Can you tell me, who has been the most
interesting and, who would you love to meet?
Well, a lot of them have been pretty interesting, and a
few of them have become some of my very closest friends
since, so it’s hard to say who has been the coolest
so far. Corey of Stonesour/Slipknot had some crazy funny
stories to tell! Jonathan Davis was not at all what I expected!
He was the nicest man ever, but I have to say Nick13, front-man
in Tiger Army is probably the most interesting. He’s
extremely smart and well-spoken. I would LOVE to meet Nikki
Sixx!
If you could team up band members
to make a ‘Super Group’, who would your band
members, be?
Nikki Sixx, Alice Cooper, Acey Slade, Joey Jordison…
oh, hold on. This list might be getting way too long....
maybe ill stick with those four.
How long have you been hosting
for M-TV Denmark for, and what do you love the most about
it?
Well I’ve been the host for Headbangers ball for about
6 months now, and we’re about to launch a new show,
that will be strictly ROCK. All kinds: new, old, punk, alternative,
and everything in-between. I’m very exited about that.
What I love most about it is that I get to be my own boss,
write my own stuff, do my own playlists (means that I’m
the boss of whatever gets played on my shows) and write
my own interviews. Plus I don't have to do interviews with
people I don't want to.
Any ups and downs in your career?
Well, not down yet, bet they'll show up at some point. Right
now, it’s pretty much up all the time.
One of your biggest achievements
in your career?
Well, I don't really see this as a career; it’s just
a job to me. One I enjoy doing..... and modeling is not
really a career either, so...
How many countries have you traveled
to, and which country did you love the most? Ever had any
thoughts of visiting South Africa for a relaxing holiday?
Well, lets see... the ones I’ve visited a bunch of
times are Sweden, Norway, England, Germany, Spain and USA.
And I’ve been to Belgium, France, Italy, and Estonia...
I think that’s it. Would LOVE to go to Africa some
time! Used to have family who lived down there.
This must be such an overly asked
question, but what was your first tattoo and do you plan
on getting any more done?
It is, it gets kind of old! Haha. My back was my first,
and yes, I have an appointment to get a big ass neck piece
(back of my neck) at the end of this month... done by www.uncleallan.com
Lastly, any future plans you would
like to share with us?
Well, I’m going to NYC this November to do some Headbangers
shows, but I might also do some other cool stuff that I
won't reveal just yet. Might have another photo shoot lined
up with Sabina
in October, which I’m very exited about. Of course,
there’s the London Tattoo Convention, where I’ll
launch my 2008 Calendar, and I’ll be going to LA in
November, or so...to do shoots and stuff.... as for next
year… who knows?! ;)
