Odey was born one pissed off little Arian, under the sign of the Dragon. Odey never saw the need for studying at school, but miraculously always seemed to astound all the critics. He never could see himself "in five years time”, so he ended up as a lousy fork-lift driver, writing songs and poetry in his spare-time. He later ended up as the vocalists for the thrash metal band, Grassburn. Unfortunately circumstances forced two of the members to leave the country, which made Odey even more pissed off, but Odey never gave up writing. And today, Odey is busy with his master plan. A plan to unite all REAL people and consume as much beer possible in the process. Hey…are you still reading this?

Hey, my name is Stef, I’m currently living in the United Kingdom, but my hometown by Heart is Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I’m a new addition to the Maze Crew and will be adding news and reviews from the U.K.

I spent most of my early teenage years and up until now in bands. I was the guitar player for Cast Down, Stillborn and Vires. I guess some of the Port Elizabeth locals will remember some of those bands! I love metal music, the heavier the better, but I have to say that early 90’s Grunge will always have a place in my heart! I’m open minded to new music and respect people who create what they love.

I love poetry and have been an active poet writer for the last 9-years, have a look on the website some of my writings is in the poetry lounge!
